What is Speed Training?

Speed Training or Over Speed Training, was original developed to aid sprinters in running faster by creating specific conditions that allowed their bodies to move quicker. The Max Swing Speed Trainer creates these same conditions for golfers to successfully swing faster over time. 

What will my distance gains be?

Every 1 MPH of speed increase equals an increase in carry distance of 2.7 yards. Within the first 4-6 weeks data shows an average speed increase of 3-8%. Progressing through the advanced training programs shows speed increases beyond this point.

Can I train more than 3 times a week?

No. Give your body time to rest and recover, at least one day, in between training sessions. More is not always better as over training can negatively affect both speed and swing consistency.

Can I replace the grips?

Yes. The Max Swing Speed Trainer is built using a standard steel shaft.

Why swing in both directions?

Speed, consistency, strength and stamina can all be built faster by training both sides of the body. Golf is predominately a one-sided sport and balancing out natural weaknesses is key to benefiting most from training.

How fast will I see results?

An increase in speed after just one session is possible. Permanent increases can be made in as little as 2 weeks but the most common time frame for permanent speed gains is 4-6 weeks.

What training program do I start with and what if I take time off?

Always start with the beginner’s program. The programs are designed to progress at regular intervals so that your body is able to build up over time and increase speed while avoiding injury. Progressing too quickly or starting out on a more advanced level is not advised. Time off is ok, you can either start back up where you left off or if it’s been a while start at the beginner’s program and work your way back up to where you were.

Why is there only one set?

The Max Swing Speed Trainer was specifically designed to allow any golfer the ability to train for more speed and distance. There is no need to purchase different sets for Women, Men or Juniors as the trainer is weight adjustable to meet everyone’s needs and is set at a length that anyone can use.

Where can I train?

The trainer can be used inside or outside as long as there is room and your surroundings are safe to take a full swings. NEVER make contact with the ground.

How do I measure my swing speed?

The most accurate will be using an advanced launch monitor (Trackman, FlightScope, MLM) found in stores or at some practice facilities. There are smaller more portable speed monitors available as well (Sport Sensors Radar, PRGR). A basic option is to make note of how far you currently hit your clubs via a range finder and then compare your carry distances after every 2 weeks of training.

What if I can’t train due to injury or physical limitation?

Always train safely and within personal limits. If you are uncomfortable or unable to complete a movement, stop. Drills can be modified or simply finish your training session using the techniques you are capable of completing safely.

Return/Refund Policy?

Damage caused by improper use of the trainer will not be covered.

Within 30 days of the purchase date you are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price. The customer assumes the cost of shipping to return the item to us.

A refund will be issued upon receipt of returned merchandise.

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
