Question about my Apple Laptop?

Hey, i have an apple iBook G4, not the newest as this is my first apple laptop just getting used to MAC. Its really good so far and i am getting used to it now. One thing i wanted to know is, on my iBook it has a slot loading cd drive able to read dvd’s but not burn to a dvd which is my main concern. As its a slot loader is there any way to upgrade to a superdrive if its even possible to put on one on an iBook.

Yes! You can upgrade the Slot Loading Optical drive in nearly any Apple computer, but you need to find the one that is specifically used for that unit.

The best place to look is 1 of 2 places: Your local Apple Repair Shop or an online company called FastMac.com.

Both places will be able to get you a SuperDrive replacement and the Mac repair shop will be able to do the installation for you.

The upgrades normally run within the $120 – $150 range and have a 1 year warranty.
