Matthew MartzSpecial to the Sun The weather cooperated providing a perfect setting as the First Annual Kern Valley Aquatics Program SOS Golf Tournament teed off Saturday at Kern Valley Golf Course in Kernville.

The fifth annual Janet Wolf Memorial Golf Outing, benefiting the Clermont County Humane Society, will be Thursday, July 9, at Elks Run Golf Course, 2000 Elk Lick Lane in Batavia Township.

Outside of Detroit, a free round of golf proves priceless to many suffering in the current economy.
