CHAMPAIGN — Luke Guthrie showed up at Illinois last fall with a big reputation — and a bad swing.  Guthrie was a junior golf superstar who won the 2007 Class 3A state championship by five strokes as a Quincy High School senior. After climbing to seventh in the American Junior Golf Association Rankings, Guthrie tumbled down the list last summer. By the time he entered Illinois, Guthrie ranked 89th.

  Some West Fargo residents are now ready to take a swing at a new golf course proposed for their city.
